ULTRAMODERN ARCHITECTURE INSPIRED BY ANCIENT ISLAMIC DESIGN
PLACE VISITED: DOHA, QATAR
QATAR
I recently had the opportunity to visit Doha, Qatar, for a few days. I was really impressed by the city's mix of traditional and modern architecture, its vibrant culture, and its delicious food. Actually, our main purpose is to eat at the Max's Restaurant in Doha which is a famous restaurant from Philippines.
One of the things I enjoyed most about Doha was its skyline. The city is home to some of the tallest skyscrapers in the world, as well as some more traditional buildings. I especially liked the contrast between the old and new.
Another thing I enjoyed about Doha was its culture. The city is home to a variety of museums, art galleries, and cultural centers. I also enjoyed visiting the Souq Waqif, a traditional market where you can buy everything from spices to souvenirs.
Of course, no trip to Doha would be complete without trying the food. The city has a variety of restaurants serving both traditional and international cuisine. I especially enjoyed the seafood restaurants, as well as the restaurants serving Middle Eastern food.
