The Dark Knight

I know I’ve been missing a hell lot of movies lately, mostly good ones at that, but my schedule with my family all gets rounded up late almost everyday.

Luckily, I was able to watch The Dark Knight last night. Finally..

As everyone may know, I am a big comic hero fan.  My priority, of course, is Spiderman.  Then Superman, and last, Batman.

But after watching the latest batman sequel, I must admit that I have fell overly in loved with my caped hero, and to The Joker too.

In this movie, Batman felt responsible for all the violence and death that have suddenly broken out again in the heart of Gotham City .  He was caught up between his respect and admiration to Dent as well as his feelings for his former lover, Rachel. And honestly, oh, I hated the feeling that Batman gives up the girl of his life :-(

Anyway, exploring into much of a plot- the theme of this movie signifies only one message-  the good and the bad are inseparable or at least, almost next to each other.  Such a confusing but enjoyable two hour and twenty minute movie with more of a psychological angst than an explosive-full of action.

For one thing, a lot of praises were also given to Heath Ledger’s terrific performance as the Joker in this movie, and I could never argue on that.  He (Ledger) surely has given one of his best performances in this role, probably earning more respect and appreciation from other actors and especially the viewers.  I, for one, will never forget Ledger for this film.

In contrary to past sequels, this time around, our caped crusader appeared to fight his very own huge struggle throughout the film. Christian Bale, though, portrayed class showing of his acting power between the overly rich civil businessman and the throaty voiced outlaw vigilante at night.  Knowing Bale as one of this generation’s most audacious actors, he was indeed effective in showing how Batman’s psyche and efforts turn into on overly exciting chaos.

A thrill of a ride, though quite for a little longer than it should have been, this movie is worth watching maybe three or four times more.  Though, I must admit that more credit goes to The Joker.  I think Ledger’s plausible conviction to his performance in The Dark Knight only compounded the tragedy and magnitude of his loss in the industry.

    Happiness

My happiness comes from the people who believe in me and inspire me every day. They are my strength.

Life is a beautiful, fleeting journey.

Despite the challenges, I see beauty and miracles everywhere.
Growing up was tough, but my Dad was my beacon of hope. He taught me to believe in myself and to embrace life's limitless possibilities. His lessons and spirit guide me still.
I lost him years ago, but I carry his memory everywhere I go, hoping he's proud of me—as I've always been of him.

I promised him I'd live life to the fullest.

Now, I find joy in writing, traveling, and simply living, cherishing each moment. This, I believe, is something we all should embrace: finding happiness in every part of life.
